ABOUT JESSICA
With her multi-ethnic, multilingual, and multicultural perspective, Jessica Sherif creates stories that examine identity and question the narratives that define and divide us.
In the non-fiction world, Jessica has turned her lens on groundbreaking athletes and cultural pioneers, in projects she co-created such as Right To Offend: The Black Comedy Revolution (A&E/Hulu), Under Pressure: The U.S. Women's World Cup Team (Netflix), Rather (Netflix), as well as an upcoming documentary on the famed Williamstown Theater Festival and a French-language podcast on sober curiosity.
On the narrative side, Jessica's short films have been selected at over 35 festivals, winning awards at HollyShorts and Tallgrass. Her screenwriting has been recognized by the Tribeca Creators Market and Women In Film. Jessica has also directed, written and produced branded and social media content for various companies.
